Dear Sir,

 

Sai Ram. Though the sin is very great and prayaschitta

may be very difficult esp. in this Kali Yuga,

surrender to God is the best way of getting rid of

your ledger of punya and paapa. Let Him take all of

yours into Him, like the river empties into Sea. After

surrender, don't bother what happens. It is His look

out. Your body may suffer. You may settle that karmic

account by being totally neglected by your own

children either now or in the future births! Doesn't

matter. When your parents could be taken care by Him,

you too will be taken care by Him. And how well or how

ill they fared depends on their own karma. This whole

topic is really difficult to understand and explain,

since the perspective keeps changing depending upon

the plane from which you look at the thing.

 

Accept all that happens as God's will. Especially

since you are a Narayana Bhakta, prapatti is the best

remedy prescribed by the great Acharyas. Follow their

instructions. If you were an Advaitin (follower of Sri

Adi Shankara), pl. realise that all papa and punya is

an illusion of the mind. The Self is the only reality.
