Guest guest
Dr.Balakrishna Murthy Ramaraju athreya-balakrishna doctor balakrishna murthy ramaraju MESSAGE from Rochester, Minnesota , USA Everyone of us has something to motivate , inspire and influence . There is a Divine Spirit in all of us. In all our bodies " PARAMAATHMA VYAVASTHITHAHA " . No message is new. All the information is in the public domain. Apples were falling down long before Sir Isaac Newton. Planets were orbiting the Sun long before Galileo and Copernicus. Theory of Relativity was in existence before Albert Einstein. Uncertainity Principle was there before Heisenberg etc etc. God is alays there . Ekam Sath = Truth is One , it is only VIPRAHA BAHUDDHAA VADANTHI = wise people interpret differently. Only Message is AANO BHADRAAHA KRATHAVO YANTHU VISWATHAHA = Let Noble Thoughts Come To Us From All Sides. SAHANAA VAVATHU = Let Us All Live Together , Coexist , Live and Let Live not James Bond Philosophy of Live and Let Die. SAHANAU BHUNAKTHU = Let Us Overcome our Differences and eat together- share and share alike. SAHAVEERYMA KARAVAA VAHAI = Let Us All Work Together , put all our shoulders to the wheel , pull together. TEJASVINAAM AVADHEETHAMASTHU = Let Us All Become Enlightened Together. MAA VIDVISHAA VAHAI = Let Us not Be Jealous of Each Other. The Present younger generation is very well informed than what we Seniors knew at their age and it should be so . There is Information Explosion and we Seniors are trying to catch up but we are in the evening of our lives and slowly inching towards Sunset.Youth are very Religious and we Seniors are very pleased. We Seniors only rember the times we had to study with a kerosene lantern for light, No Television No Computers and Radio only when we were growing up.But Knowledge is always there as SRUTHI, SMRUTHI, AAGAMA , NIGAMA , VEDAS , UPANISHADS , ITHIHAASAS and PURAANAS. But Certain things dont change . Core values remain same in every generatin. Our tradition has a hoary past . Ours is a Tradition of : - NACHIKETHA following his father's orders going to seek Blessings from YAM DHARMA RAAJA and returning with Nachiketha Agni , Profound Knowledge of Life and Death. SUNASSEPA following his parents' wish offering himself as Bali Pasu for Nara Medham. SRAVANA KUMAR carting his elderly parents around where ever he went. SRUNGI , PARASURAAMA and ASWATHAAMA seeking to avenge the insult meted out to their parents. DRONA SACRIFICING his life under the impression that his son is no more. RAAMA , knowing fully well that it is not a direct wish of HIS father and still following an unspoken wish. DASARATHA passing away not able to withstand separation from his SON. KRISHNA and BALARAAMA delivering their parents from their suffering. GANDHAARI voluntarily blindfolding herself to follow her husband's blindness. MANY MANY MORE of mutual respect , love and affection. We Seniors Can Give only Blood Sweat and Tears. We dont want to be neither lenders nor borrowers be. Every one of us may no be donors and some of us may only be recepients. We Seniors cant stand rejection . As a doctor I know of a Senior refusing to eat and drink because his son refused his father a soft drink. Seniors cant stand swear words and harsh words like " DAMN RIGHT YOU ARE " . I know we indulge in saying that we have been there , we have done that etc not knowing You Youngsters already know much more than what we do . I can only say please show indulgence. I realize we have to follow others' wishes and learn to give space and finally learn to fade away . As A Doctor we should , if possible try to cure , if not try to improve , if that is not possible try to alleviate but last not the least try not to make it worse. OM THATH SATH . SO BE IT. athreya - doctor balakrishna murthy ramaraju
