Malayaraja speaks out MALAYARAJASTAVAM and away from the fear of

Death.

Generally the human beings may face 101 deaths, in which only one is

KALA MRUTYU which shall comes after ending of 108 years of human

being.According to AYURVEDA those 100 deaths shall be eliminated by

human beings by following ancient AYURVRUDHHI methods like shanti.and

pushti karmas etc. Regarding to MALAYARAJA his father was a king

named as Devaraja, who ruled Karnataka state in southern india making

ANEGONDI as his capital.Both Devaraja and his wife are devotees of

lord SIVA. They have not issues for a long time, as such the royal

couple made tapas and upasana of Lord SIVA. At last the Lord SIVA

appeared in the dreame of the king and give an offer to select a son

with several good qulities but having short life span of 16 years, or

select several sons who are not having good qualities but having big

life span. The king selected one son with good qualities who is

having short life span. As per the above the queeen delivered a

male child and named as MALAYARAJA. This boy was also known about

short life span of 16 years. He was also a devotee of SIVA. Hence at

the end of 16 th year he prayed lord SIVA by his MALAYARAJA STAVA.

The lord pleased and blessed him with POORNA AYUSH of 108 years.

In this stotra we may find the poet's pathetic expression and fear

about the death, and heartful request to bless him to brushout the

fear of death. We may also find that the poet requested the Lord

MRUTYUNJAYA to give firm devotion on the Lotus feet of SAMBASIVA in

this birth and forth comming births.

This Stotra contains 72 slokas as symabalising 72,000 nerves consists

in the human body( according to Yoga sastra and upanishats). The

rendering this stotra shall give the effect which shall be get by

YOGA SADHANA.This stotra also contains certain words rendered in

RUDRADHAYA as such it is having the effect of incresing the life span

duly cutting APAMRUTYU DOSHA.
