Guest guest
Om Shanthi Here i want to elevate a core point in the bhagavathgita....that is soul conciousness. When we are giving the lectures or lesioning the lectures on spirituality we oftenly encounter the sentence " my soul " or " your soul " . Here my question is--if the soul is your's, then who are you? Here we can have an answer for this question I am a soul. I, the soul, am a point of light, a spiritual energy seated in the center of the forehead. I play my part through this body. This body is just an instrument for me. I see through my eyes … I hear through my ears … I have awareness, my body does not. This body is not " me " . I direct the body to act and I receive responses from the sense organs via the brain. The body is my car and I, the soul, am its driver. The soul has three intrinsic abilities, that is, the ability to think, to wish or will (Mind), the ability to judge, to rationalize, to understand (Intellect) and finally the ability to retain impressions of past thoughts in the form of attitudes, moods and habits (Sanskaras). To be soul-conscious means that I am aware of myself as a soul and my thoughts, words and actions are in accordance with the intrinsic qualities of the soul which comprises of peace, purity, power, love and truth.
