Dear brothers and sisters

All types of activity of the soul through the body is called

as " Karma " . This definition encompasses all our actions, words and

even our thoughts. The Law of Karma dictates that every soul will

reap the fruits of its actions and that every soul is fully

responsible for its fate and destiny. Our future is what we make for

ourselves. It is inaccurate to say that souls are immune to the

effects of actions. Rather the converse is true.

In essence, if you sow thorns, don't expect to harvest corns. This is

similar to one of the laws of motion which basically dictates

that " For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction " .

There are 3 types of karma i.e. Sukarma, Vikarma and Akarma. It is

the first two types that should concern one the most.

Sukarma means good actions and Vikarma means bad actions. All

actions performed on the basis of soul consciousness are good actions

i.e. Sukarma. All actions springing from body consciousness are bad

actions i.e. Vikarma. Through Raja Yoga meditation one is able to

burn ones' sins (Vikarma). Raja Yoga meditation also gives one the

mental strength to perform good actions.

Thanks and Regards
