Guest guest
Srimaatrenamaha I earnestly request the schlors and astrologers in TBP to kindly clarify the exact date of UGAADI the Telugu New year day. In some Panchangams the date of ugaadi is mentiond as 19-3-2007 as this day the PADYAME Tithi is available, and not on 20-3-2007 and on 19 th march is correct day even though the padyami is associated with amaavasyaa and it should be neglected as it is AVAMI tithi in some other panchangams it is stated that 19-3-2007 the ugaadi festival should not be performed as padyami tithi is available on Aparanham (in the afternoon )only, and this is also bad due to the suneclipse. The GRAHANA SPARSA day should not be performed as it is DOOSHYAM (not good) and not fit to perform Telugu New years day. Some holy peethadhipatis are also suppoting this view of thinking. Hence I request you to kindly clarify the exact date of UGAADI so as several pesons may act accordingly. Elder persons should show the correct path to others as said in Bhagawad Geeta 'Yadyadaacharati sreshtaha.........'
