On 20 th March by the time of Sun Rise it is already Suddha Vidiya as

Chaithra Suddha Paadyami(Prathama) is over by early morning 4.01 AM

and Vidiya (Dwitheeya) is already 2 and half hours old by Sun Rise on

Tuesday, March 20 th. So Sarwajith Ugadi is on March 19 th Monday. If

one is too technical

Sarwajith Chaithra Suddha Paadyami actually starts at 8.13 AM on

Monday in Mesha Lagnam and Paadyami lasts whole day and most of the

night. Why not celebrate Ugaadi both on 19 th as well as 0n 20 th.
