Guest guest
Dear Devotees of Divine Grace, Love and Love alone .... Here is the continuation of the remaining discourse of Brahmaleen Pujya Ramsukhdas ji Maharaj on the three Yogas, i.e., Bhakti, Karma and Jnana. Love and Love alone .... P. Gopi Krishna === As discussed yesterday, in the Gita, the Lord describes the six marks of a perfect devotee - Anepeksah sucirdaksa udaasino gatavyathah | Sarvaarambhaparitya agi yo madbhaktah sa me priyah || (Gita 12:16) Here the word " Anapeksha " means he who has " no expectation. " A devotee considers God as the noblest. To him, there is no greater gain than realizing God, therefore he is not the least attracted to worldly objects. He is not even attached to his so-called body, senses, mind and intellect, because he regards these as God's and belonging to God. He is unconcerned about maintaining his body and is totally free of all desires. A devotee is not shaken even by the worst of sorrow, because he remains absorbed in the Lord's pastimes. Even in the most unfavourable of circumstances, he does not express a desire for favourable situations of any kind. Such a devotee knows that all mundane objects are perishable, while he (Self), can never be separated from God. Having known this reality, he has no desire to acquire these perishable objects. Devout devotees do not even desire to behold God. They totally depend upon His sweet will and remain ever absorbed in Him, by thinking of His boundless grace. Srimadbhagavat (Srimadbhag. 11:14:16) says that even the Lord follows such a devotee, so that the dust of their feet may touch and sanctify Him.
