Sai Ram,

I thought people who are interested and can make it will appreciate this

information. According to the website, it is first time in History

Memphis, TN people are going to have this privilege. Here is the intro

about the Homam, which I got on the website, yagnam.icctmemphis.org.

===========================================================

India Cultural Center & Temple is performing Ashtottara Satakundatmaka

Ashtamukha Gandabherunda Narasimha Mahayagnam to prevent natural

calamities, restore balance in the nature, promote understanding and

tolerance among the nations and various faiths of the world & for the

universal peace.

The Yagnam starts on Sri Narasimha Jayanthi May 2nd and Mahapurnahuti is

on Lord Sudarsana's janma nakshatra Swati, May 6th.

Mata Karunamayi Sri Sri Sri Vijayeswari Devi will guide and bless the

event by Her presence and discourses during these five days.

Mataji's choice has a special significance, since She attained

siddhi and became a Yogini after twelve years of intense meditation in

Penusila forest in Andhrapradesh which is a Holy Narasimha kshetra.

This Yagna will be conducted by 108 Agama Pundits in 108 homakunds, one

each for five elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Space), seven for seven

universes and twelve for each face of Lord Narasimha (Hayagreeva,

Vyaghra, Gandabherunda, Simha, Bhalluka, Garuda, Anjaneya, Varaha).
