As I was reading the April month's issue of " Rishi Prasad " I found

the following analysis very interesting in an article

titled " Sulabha: A Master of Yogic Science " . I thought I should

share the interesting portion with you all. Hereunder it is

reproduced. Enjoy !!!

Thy Divinity

......... In association with the mind, the five organs of cognition

and five organs of action are driven by the life force. Introverting

the mind through Pranayama, etc., check the dissipation of

consciousness caused by the temptations of the senses.

The body has fifteen different constituents, which can be perceived

through meditation upon the naval centre. Just as you can see the

Margosa leaves, you can clearly perceive the nadis and energy

channels within your body, thereby realizing that all these, which

are seen, are different from the seer.

It is an established principle that the seer is separate from the

seen. The loud speaker is seen by the eyes because the eyes are

separate from it. Similarly, it is the mind which perceives that

some foreign body has got into the eye as also whether the eyes are

alright or there is something wrong with them, for the mind is

separate from the eyes. Again it is through the intellect that one

ascertains as to whether the mind is restless or calm, because the

intellect is separate from the mind. Finally, it is me, the Self,

who sees whether the intellect is right or wrong. You can see if

your intellect has become forgetful or it has hit upon a particular

idea, because you are not the intellect. It is you who can see

whether the intellect has become ore or less competent, whether the

restlessness of the mind has increased or decreased, and whether the

eyes have been properly or not, because you are the Pure

Consciousness, separate from all these. ..........
