Guest guest
Dear Lovers of Lovely Posts in TBP, Love and Love alone.... Undoubtely, the root cause for all our mundane problems is " Desire " . From this one, all other problems sprout and take different shapes in us, like Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Mada, Matsarya, Eershya, Dwesha, and Ahankaram. The cumulative effect of all this is Ajnanam. Read what Pujya Ramsukhdas ji is saying hereunder. Love and Love alone.... P. Gopi Krishna ===== Gita says - " Sacrifice Desires, " so what is this desire ? What can be called as desires? Regarding desires, I have come across something very amazing. " What my mind wants, should happen " that is desire. Wanting others to operate according to the way I say or wanting things to happen according to the way my mind wants. Wanting others do what my mind wishes, that is desire. Give this up, then you will be in peace, you will become free, you will attain salvation, you will be greatly benefited. Man thinks that if things happen according to his command then he will be free; and if he does what others say, listen to others then he has become dependent. This is totally false. What is dependence and what is independence ? Man believes that when he is independent in whatever he does, in whatever he gets done from others, then he has attained freedom. This is not freedom, rather it is major dependence. This is not an ordinary thing, but this type of thinking does not register in the mind. In fact, the opposite is understood. Just like when we envision wearing a beautiful watch and desire to acquire it, but feel within that since we do not have money we cannot purchase it, but if we had the money we could immediately purchase it and that is the freedom we would have. But since we cannot purchase it, we have become dependent. We only understand to this extent. But is the money used for purchasing the watch your self? Is your self the Money? Rather even the money is obtained from somewhere else. Those who are dependent on money, how can they be independent? They are only a slave to money. They are a slave, as they have to do according to what others say to gain that money. They have become dependent on the money that has been earned, they are captivated by that money, then where is the question of independence? But unfortunately this point is simply not registered or understood, what can one do? Where is the freedom in things purchased or work accomplished with money? Therefore what is that true freedom we speak of ? When there is no thoughts in the mind, there is no wanting of anything, there is no desire for anything at all in the mind. This is the real freedom.
