Sishya of

VEDA VYAASA and GURU OF YAAJNA VALKYA RUSHI.

 

AAPASTHAMBHA SOOTHRAM ; AAPASTHAMBHA is both a SOOTHRA KARTHA as well as a

 

SROUTHA SOOTHRA KARTHA.

Among the Three Rushis of KUTSASA GOTHRAM , ANGIRA and KAUTSA are BRAHMINS

and MAANDHAATHA is

an ISHVAAKU DYNASTY CHAKRAVARTHI. MAANDHAATHA belongs to Sishya Parampara

of ANGIRA and

KUTSA and KAUTSA are linear descendants of ANGIRA .

So the lineage is : BRAHMA - ANGIRA - KUTSA - KAUTSA .

PATTISAM is a Saiva pilgrimage centr on the banks of River Godavari.

Your ancestors must have settled originally in Pattisam.
