For all of us whenever we are performing any Vedic Ritual we must remember atleast Three of our immediate diseased Ancestors - Suppose father is alive - then grand father and mother and great grandfather and great grand father on paternal side and if possible on maternal side also. If possible it is better to recall seven genarations or five generations . Most of us know our parents and paternal and maternal grandparents - if you can find out from your elders to go back as far as possible , maintain a record and pass it on to our children and if they can pass it on down the line , atleast a time will come our grand children can build a tree upto BRAHMA. In England there is Somerset house where every Englishman can trace their ancestors for some hundreds years . Let us start .
