My scientific research on Valmiki Ramayana for over two decades may

provide some valuable insights on Nala Sethu. According to Valmiki

Ramayana, the land mass (the Sethu) seen between India at Rameswaram

and Sri Lanka was built by over 1000 crore army of Vanaras, Rukshyas

and Golanguls under the supervision of Vanara architect Nala, and

supreme Commandership of Prince Rama of Ayodhya in exile. The Sethu

estimated to be of around 65 km long including Mannar island, and 5

km width was built on 20- 200 m deep ocean with big boulders and

huge trees just in five days. It is a prehistoric wonder of the

world, the first bridge ever built on deep sea connecting two

nations- was not made by humans! The huge landmass seen visibly or

by satellites stands as undisputable archeological evidence for

existence of Vanaras and Rama once upon a time. While returning from

the war in ancient Sri Lanka Rama pointed Sita from Pushpak Vimana

the place where he prayed Shiva on the sea shore before making

Sethu, according to Valmiki Ramayana. Therefore, Rameswaram temple

remains as reference point wherefrom Rama has made the Sethu with

the help of Vanaras. To the exact land mass, Sethu originating from

the reference point, Rameswaram temple the British named as Adam's

Bridge. My scientific research on Nala Sethu can be viewed in the

website (aired my expert opinion on June 3 in TV programme- Mano Ya

Na Mano): http://www.angelfire.com/sc3/1010/VARADHI.htm. The British

has simply renamed Nala Sethu as Adam's Bridge, but as far as my

knowledge goes, they did not deny Rama building it.
