Krishna Consciousness is Krishna Awareness , means Krishna Bhakthi.

 

DOORVAASA is a frequent visitor to Dwaaraka and an honored Guest

 

at Krishna's Palace , stopping for Lunch , Dinner and Night Sleepovers.

 

YOGAMAAYA (Sakthi) , cousin sister of Krishna is the Second wife of

 

DOORVAASA , who has previously divorved His First wife KANDALI

 

AURVI due to incompatibility.

 

So DOORVAASA is qualified to be called a Krishna Bhaktha , though

 

pristine qualities of a True Bhaktha, like humility and tolerance to others

 

point of view, may be lacking in DOORVAASA. It is suffice to say that

 

DOORVAASA and Krishna mutually respected each other ; ofcourse

 

Krishna respected ONE and ALL .

 

DOORVAASA is born to Athri and Anasooya as Rudraamsa Sambhootha.

 

Since his infancy DOORVAASA is prone to tantrums and easily provoked

 

to anger and hence named DOORVAASA (one who is easily upset) by

 

His Father Athri. This quality sometimes led DOORVAASA to a clouding of

 

judgement. He was humbled by Ambareesha , a great Vishnu Bhaktha . He

 

was upset by Indra not without reason , but still DOORVAASA is a Great

 

Man.

 

DOORVAASA married KANDALI AURVI and begat KandaLeeyas.

 

Kandali proved to be equally short tempered and is called a GayyaaLi.

 

I always wondered why a short tempered man is not called a GayyaaLi.

 

Whatever , DOORVAASA divorced Kandali and went to Dwaaraka and got

 

Himself happily married to YOGAMAAYA and begat Aathreyasas.

 

DOORVAASA is beloved of Siva and Parvathi to whom He had an easy

 

access.

 

Vyaasa is directly responsible to the birth of Dhrutharaashtra , Paandu and

 

Vidura. DOORVAASA is indirectly responsible to the birth of Paandavas as

 

it is DOORVAASA who gave the PUTHRA KAAMA ISHTTI MANTHRA to

 

Kunthi.

 

DOORVAASA is also responsible for the end of Krishna's Progeny as

 

the youngsters of Krishna's Clan mocked at DOORVAASA and a Musalam

 

destroyed yadu Clan and forced the survivors to migrate west across the

 

Arabian Sea . DOORVAASA BLESS ALL.
