Question: The Ego, the sense of self, has been called an instrument,

as well as, a doer ? How is this ego, an instrument or a doer ?

Answer: In reality, the ego is the instrument, but the feeling of

doership is something that we accept within us. " Kartaarhumiti

manyate, " (Gita 3:27).

Question: If this ego, the sense of self has been mistakenly

accepted, then this mistake is in whom?

Answer: It is in the one who accepts. It is in the one that has

accepted the oneness with it. This error has been happening from time

immemorable, however this cycle does end.

Question: How can we remove the impressions on the mind, intellect

and ego?

Answer: Do not instigate and stir up the mind, intellect and ego. Do

not look towards it. Look towards what " IS " . Do not even see towards

wiping out that oneness with ego. Don't see anything, simply become

silent, then naturally everything will be alright. The huge glaciers

that are floating in the ocean, do not try to melt them, nor to keep

them. This is called the state of inner silence (sahaj avasthaa).

Question: Why does is appear so difficult to break off that sense of

self, that ego?

Answer: This ego, the sense of self appears to be difficult to wipe

out due to desire for sense enjoyment from contact born pleasures.

Simply speaking, this ego is held up and lasting due to desire

to " continue to live and live in happiness and comforts "
