Guest guest
How to Attain True and Eternal Peace Every person wants to attain True Peace. How to attain this peace? - is the question. The solution that the Gita prescribes is that we have to leave all our attachments and desires (Nirmamoha), and sense of " Me and Mine-ness " (ahankaar) if we want True Peace. When we came to this world, we came with nothing and when we leave this world, we will not be able to take anything with us from this world, not even our body which was also created in this world. We must remember and accept that nothing in this world is ours and nothing in this world is for us. When nothing in this world is ours (neither our body, our family, our house, our wealth, etc.), then how can we want anything for ourself? As soon as we accept this fact, there will be no want, and when there is no want or desire, there will be immediate peace. We have been given the power to decide and analyze what is real, what is right and what is not. This power is only available to humans. This is the power of our intellect and this intellect is for us. This is the path of Wisdom (Gyan Yog). Similarly, in Bhakti Yog, only God is ours and only God is for us. There is nothing else but God. Therefore, we must make God our very own. Things of the world will always stay with the world. They are not for us. Let us not treat the world as ours or for ourself. Tell God that I am yours and only yours. Do what You want with me. Make me Your slave, You become my Master. Even if the whole world is against us, no problem ! God is always with us. God is ours. He can never leave us even if He wants to. Have confidence that He is always with us, every second of our life. When we become God's " Yes Man " , instant peace follows.
