out the correct answer for the question WHO AM I ?

 

Srimat Paramahamsa Parivrajakaacharya Jagadguru Sri

Sankaraacharya veridict as an answer for the question is

 

'Naaham dehaha nendriyanantarango

naahamkaaro pranavargo nabudhhihi

daaraapatya kshetra vittadi duram

saakshee nityam pratyagaatmaa sivoham "

 

NAAHAM DEHAHA:- I am not the phisical body

 

NENDRIYAANYANTARANGAHA:- I am not the main ten 'Indriyas ' and I

am not the mind.

 

NAAHAMKAARAHA:- I am not the Ahamkaara ( the active part in the

inner sense which feels that he is doing every thing)

 

PRANAVARGO NA BUDHHIHI:- I am not 'pranavarga' ( there are group

of five pranavarga i.e., Prana, Apaana, Vyaana, Udaana and Samaana)

and I am not Buddhi ( decissive part in mind which is reponsible to

take any decision by the person)

 

DAARAAPATYA KSHETRA VITTADI DURHA:- I am not connected with DARA

( wife), APATYA (children), KSHETRA (land ) and VITTADI (Money etc.,)

 

SAAKSHEE NITYAM :- I am the observer for every thing for all times

 

PRATYAGAATMAA SIVOHAM :- I am nothing but PRATYAGAATMAA ( the soul

which is not having death or change) and I am SIVA (the supreem)

 

The balance solokas shall be discused in due cource.
