God is Guru of this Universe

 

A person who is without attachment, he alone can benefit a child. One

who is with attachment simply cannot see to what is beneficial for

the child. A doctor can cure many patients when ill, but when his own

wife or child fall sick, then another doctor is called. Think about

this, why this is the case? Inspite of being a great doctor, due to

attachment he is unable to treat and cure his wife and child. Wife

and child will be better treated by one who is not attached.

 

The point is that the learnings that come from a Saint, a Spiritual

Guide (Guru) who is free of attachment and favoritism far exceeds,

from teachings of others. Spiritual Guides (gurus) say to sadhakas

that you become my disciple, and I will share great learnings ! But

it is a sad thing that on becoming a disciple, one becomes allured,

develops attachment, and when this delusion sets in, both guru and

disciple take a fall -

 

" Guru Lobhi, Shishya Laalchi, dono khele daav

Dono dooba parasram, baith patther ki naav. "

 

The disciple thinks that by giving the Guru a gift of money,

auspiciousness will come to him, and the Guru will take away all his

sins. On the other side the Guru thinks, that for free I have

received this money, let me give him a Kanthi (necklace). Now, by

wearing / tying this necklace (kanthi), can salvation be attained?

 

People say that on getting a Guru, one can attain salvation. If one

does not have a Guru, then one should get one. Just like if we do not

have a brother, let us have a brother like figure and accept him as

brother. What is happening here is that this is all leading to

nothing but downfall at all costs. What happens on making someone a

Guru? One says, my Guru is greater, another says mine is even more

greater, now let us have a cock fight on this. And let us all enjoy

watching the cock fight as to who is better? Now how can there be

salvation?

 

People do not think at all. They say that without Guru, salvation

will not be possible, then for those that have been initiated by a

Guru, have they truly prospered ? Have they attained salvation? If

they have not, then how can we attain salvation? One should have some

sense, one should think a little bit. They do not think that those

that have become Gurus, what is their state ! There are agents for

making a Guru. They say that you make my guru, your guru as well.

Such a concocted upside down method this is. Would a chaste wife,

tell other ladies that I consider my husband as my Lord, you too

consider him the same, you too serve him? You too become the disciple

of my Guru, join our group, then have you taken up the contract of

seeing to other's salvation?

 

Please think about this. " Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum. " God is the Guru

of this entire Universe and you are in this Universe. Lord Krishna's

mantra is - " Bhagavad Gita " . Contemplate on the Gita and live by it,

and attain salvation.
