Guest guest
Dear Sastry Garu, Love and Love alone..... I can only salute you from the bottom of my heart for such wonderful postings, but my complaint, as already voiced earlier once, is that you should also write the meaning of the slokas. Then only, it would be useful to every one. Merely reproducing the slokas will not help many of the readers in TBP. If not word to word meaning, at least, kindly write the salient points, as gist of the slokas or each sloka, for every one's benefit. I hope you would concede to my request. Love and Love alone...... In Ayurveda its called as 'SWASTHA VRUTTAM'. In this text we may find the following chapters.
Guest guest
Dear Sastry Garu, Love and Love alone.... Wonderful job Sir. Many thanks for the excellent effort. This is sufficient to have at least a glimse of the apparent meaning of these great slokas. One can approach a Sanskrit scholar if anybody wants to have a deeper meaning. Kindly continue and bless us all with this Amrit. We look forward to your continued postings. Also, kindly post the other Stotras that you have mentioned about Lord Dattatreya and others. Love and Love alone.... P. Gopi Krishna ====== SRI MAATRE NAMAHA My dear Sri Gopikrishna Garu, Namaste. Thank you for your kind responce. Generally I am trying to send slokas with its meanings. Occationally there may be a lapse for which I may kindly be excused. However I am hereby submitting the meanings of that two slokas mentiond in my letter along with that slokas as a PRAYASCHITTA for the mistake committed by me. " Suneeti sadvaidya dharma sastraanusaaratah virachyate Charucharyaa Bhojabhupena dheemataa " Meaning:- I am the king Bhojaraja. I am hereby writting 'CHARUCHARYA' in accordence with 'Suneeti'(good law), 'Sadvaidya' (Proper treatment methods according to Ayurveda) and 'Dharma sastra'(proper methods to be implimented in daily life by every one which is not harmful to others). " Sankham chakra muparyadhascha karyor divywoshadham dakshine vaame naanya karena sambhruta sudhaa kumbham jwalat kaapilam bibhraanaha karunaakaraha subhakaraha sarvaamaya dhwamsakaha sarvam me duritam chhinattu bhagavaan Dhanwantari ssantatam " Meaning:= It is a prayer to 'God DHANVANTARI'. The DHANVANTARI is having four hands. He is wearing SANKHA and CHAKRA in the above hands. In the below right hand a great herb. And in the below left hand he is wearing SUDHAKUMBHAM a pot which is in the colour of shining KAPILA ( A glorios merune) which containing AMRUTAM (the drink of GODS).The DHANVANTARI is so merciful. He is capable to give good and He is the eminent and ethenticated GOD who can smash any disease. I am praying HIM to smash my sins and always to protect me. If there may be a lapse in writting the meaning of any slokas the group members may excuse me and to get the asssitance of a sanskrit pandit to understand them. So as they may be in touch with the 'Deva Bhasha' i.e., SANSKRIT. It is wise to get in touch with SANSKRIT as our entire ancient culture including VEDAS are available in Sanskrit only and it may better to understand them deeply.
