Guest guest
Living in this world, attain Salvation. In the art of seeing divinity in relationships, Gita has shared amazing insights by which man can in all situations, conduct his life in a manner that is free of prohibited actions, and attain his salvation. Many other teachings indicate that if one desires to attain salvation, then renounce everything and become an ascetic, as dealings in the world and attaining spiritual upliftment both cannot happen simultaneously. But Gita says that wherever you are, whatever doctrines, philosophies you believe in, whatever theories and principles you imbibe, whatever religious beliefs you have or organizations you have faith in, while continuing to believe in those things, and simultaneously living according to the teachings of the Gita, one can attain salvation. The point here is, that any man whether he is a hindu, or a muslim, or a christian, of jewish faith, or a parsi, or a believer of any other belief system or doctrine etc, if his aim is one of attaining salvation, then he will receive all the necessary tips, tools, techniques on attaining this in the Gita. Even living and conducting his daily activities, he can attain divine knowledge, he can become a devotee of God, he can attain union with God, he can realize the essential truths in meditation, or any of the different yogas can be attained. Such amazing and extraordinary knowledge has been revealed in the Gita. Now, what is that extraordinary and distinguished knowledge that is being expressed here? It is - In whatever relationships we are engaged in, leaving aside all insistence of selfishness, arrogance and vanity, have an eye on doing things for the benefit of all beings. Having an eye on welfare of all means, that in present it is beneficial and in future it is also beneficial. We are also benefitted and others are also benefitted - having such a vision and intention, do all your activities. On doing so, one can very easily attain God Realization. The knowledge and realizations attained by the great sages and saints while remaining in seclusion, that same knowledge can be attained while living in this world and conducting one's daily activities. Remaining equanimous in successes and failures and performing one's duties is in itself conducting one's life according to the Gita.
