Guest guest
PRIYA BHAGAVAT BANDUVULLARA! VOICE OF THE RISHIS: 93 COURTESY: SHRI RAPARLA JANARADHANA RAO " SAATVIKAM NIRMALAM PHALAM " --BHAGAVAD GITA 14-16 As already explained previously, Gita divides all the traits of man into three categories, Satva, Rajas and Tamas. Of the three, Satva as a quality assumes top priority while Rajas and Tamas follow in relative order. Taking Satvic food and following Satvic or soft ways of devotion to God, according to the present quote brings purity or soft sweetness (Nirmalam Phalam). If one wants to lead a peaceful undisturbed life, one should follow the Saatvic ways. The present violent acts of murder, rape arson, and aggressive ways are all the products of either Rajasic or Tamasic acts. The Saatvic ways are well defined in Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga in Gita. And this needs to be studied in detail by all the aspirants. A reading of this Chapter in Yoga will make us realize what the traits to be acquired by practice and what violent ways to be eschewed by the aspirant or the Saadhaka. " Satvic ways, when adopted will bring you the peaceful results " says the Gita.
