Several friends and well wishers asked me for the

 

Source of my messages and References etc .

 

All the information I have been posting is in the

 

Public Domain. In fact a friend correctly pointed out

 

to me that everybody knows what I am writing and

 

there is no need and instead I should concentrate

 

on motivating , and try to improve the financial and

 

employment prospects of fellow members which

 

view was endorsed by another friend.

 

However there are others who wanted me to keep

 

posting and keep doing what I have been doing

 

which I am happy to do.

 

Now coming back to source , the substance of my

 

messages are 1. SRUTHI - what I heard from my

 

vedic scholar grand father and my father who is an

 

allopathic doctor, vedic scholar, Sanskrit Pandit,

 

Vedic Astrologer and a pauraaNik. I also heard

 

from Gurus and colleagues.My grandmother and

 

mother used to tell me PuraaNik stories.

 

2.SMRUTHI - I remembered what I learnt over the

 

past 72 years

 

3.PATTATHI - I read PuraaNas in my spare time

 

4.VADATHI - I spoke to colleagues

 

5. SATHSANG - for a while I was associated with

 

Chinmaya Mission , ISKCON , RSS

 

and VHP

 

and lastly

 

6. LIKHATHI - writing to share what I did through

 

1 to 4 above.

 

7.MODATHI - I am pleased that quite a few liked it.

 

Friends wondered about my Family name

 

" RAMARAJU " , but I am not a Raju.I adopted my

 

Gothra " AATHREYA " as my pen name.

 

Few of my well wishers and friends told me that my

 

name is too long; I cant help it ; just like I could not

 

choose my parents , my name was chosen by my

 

father who felt that my name should start with " B "

 

my Birth Star is Moola - 3.

 

I am happy with what I am and invoke the dictum

 

that " DooshaNa , BhooshaNa , Thiraskaarams "

 

affect only the body - a kiind of escapism.

 

You can call me by my Nom de Plume " aathreya " ,

 

" rbk " , " Murthy " , " krishna murthy " , " balakrishna "

 

" rb krishna murthy " as long as respect is given

 

and taken.
