Guest guest
PRIYA BHAGAVAT BANDUVULLARA! VOICE OF THE RISHIS: 97 COURTESY: SHRI RAPARLA JANARADHANA RAO " SUDESE SUJANA PARIVRITE " --SIVA YOGA PRADEEPIKA " Siva Yoga Pradeepika " is a famous Yoga text and the present adage in it, tells the Yogi at which place, he has to practice yoga. The place chosen must be conducive for the ideal pursuit of Yoga. It should naturally be good in climate and have all the required facilities for an undisturbed continuance. In a single comprehensive word it is described as (Sudese) a good place and more than anything else, " Sujana Parivrite " , surrounded by good and well meaning people, the place of yoga " parivrite " surrounded by `sujana'. Good people signify the society that is peaceful and free from local disturbances, or violent upheavals. This is essential. The environment should be good and congenial and the people are peace-loving. In the days of yore, the practice of Yoga, to discover the hidden powers of man and nature were considered the best practice viewed from individual as well as social aspects. For such significant, unhindered Yogi pursuit, the choosing of the ideal location naturally formed an essential consideration.
