Guest guest
Only God and His Devotees can Love without any Selfish Motive God and His devotees are the only two who do good to all beings without any selfish motive and promote their welfare - " Hetu rahit jag jug upkaari; Tum tumhaar sewak asuraari; Swaarth meet sakal jag maahi, sapanehu prabhu parmaarth naahi. " (Manasa, Uttara, 47:3) " Sur nar muni sab kai yeh reeti, swaarth laagi karahin sab preeti. " (Manasa, Uttara, 12:1) All love for their own selfish motive. Loving without any selfish motive, are only God and His devotees. If they appear sweet to us, then we will become like saints and exalted souls. But if we like falsehood, fraud, dishonesty, cheating, and deception, then we will degrade ourselves. Let us look at ourselves and see what state we are in? For how many years have we been in satsang (association with truth) and how much have we become inclined towards and closer to God? Let us reflect on this. How much we like money, but in spite of that, it slips away from between our figures without giving any notice. In spite of that we incessantly hanker after money saying " My Money, My Money. " Money does not remember you, only God remembers you, protects you and helps you. Who else is there that is equal to God? " Uma Ram sum hit jag naahi; Guru pitu maatu bandhu prabhu naahi. " " In this Universe their is no one, neither teacher, nor father, nor mother, nor brother who is our well-wisher, as God is. " How much God has done for us; How much He is doing for us and He will continue to do for us. Neither any one is, nor was, nor will be, nor can ever be so concerned about our well-being as God is. What selfish motive does God have in His dealings with us? And what do we do for Him? Then too He loves us and does good to us. If we with a true and pure heart, become engaged in God, then we will attain the ultimate bliss.
