Guest guest
When a devotee, with full faith and love, meditates upon a particular form, over a period of time, his mind gets absorbed and enchanted, and he starts yearning for His vision. The devotee's meditation intensifies and results in the vision of the desired divine form, sport, or abode. He may also experience divine sounds, touch, or fragrance. Such a vision purifies the devotee's mind and increases his faith and devotion. Thereafter, the devotee desires nothing of the world and wants to ever remain with the Lord. Such a vision is not easy to get. However, it is not the absolute vision, as the Lord is not known in His true nature. It is a temporary vision, a mental projection, due to past impressions. The seen is limited by time, space, and object. The Lord is infinite; so He cannot be seen. He is not different from the seer. Hence, the true vision of the Lord is to know Him as oneself.
