Guest guest
The Awakening of Love That man who saddened by this life thinks that if only there was someone that was mine, one who would take me in, one who would hug me and snatch away my sorrow, my pain, my sins, this feeling of separation, my fears, this feeling of no way out, etc etc... to that one, God graces him with His devotion. And that man who is only interested in becoming free from worldly bondages, one who from dependency wants to attain freedom and liberation, to that one, God grants salvation. On attaining salvation, the person become established in " Swa " " Is-ness, Existence, Self, innate " It is said in the Gita - " Samadukha Sukha Swastha " (Gita 14:24). On becoming established in " Swa " (Self, Is-ness), this natural state, the subtle egoism, or feeling of individuality remains, and this identification with I-ness (subtle egoism) gives him the experience of immense joy. But the embodied soul being a part of God, is ever magnetically attracted towards his " whole " (anshi). Rather even after becoming established in the Self and having attained salvation, there after as well, he feels something missing, then at that time, from " Swa " (Is-ness) he moves and gravitates in the direction of " Swakiya " (the one he belongs to, one's very own) God. Even though after salvation, there is end of sorrow and end of new inquiry, but the longing for love never quite settles. The point here is that without the awakening of love, the hunger of the Self (swayam) is not totally wiped out. On gravitating towards his " Swakiya " (his very own) - the Lord, i.e. on the awakening of love, the immense joy changes into never ending, ever increasing joy and the individuality (I-ness), of the sadhak ends (is completely annihilated) once and for all.
