Guest guest
Destiny (Prarabdha) Destiny is for removing worries and anxiety, but it is not for making one lazy and useless. Man does not commit sins or virtues due to his destiny (fruits of past actions); as the fruit of actions is not new actions, rather it is enjoyments or sorrows. Destiny only presents favorable and unfavorable conditions and situations, but man is independent in being happy and unhappy from these situations. The ordinance of the Almighty, all Knowing, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent God is that no one suffers more punishment than his sins and the punishment received is the fruit of some or the other of his own sins committed in the past. What happens is always alright, it can never not be alright. Therefore in doing one must be very careful, and in all the happenings that are taking place, one must remain ever joyful. Actions that are not ordained by the scriptures, do not happen due to one's destiny, but they happen due to one's desires. On one hand there is " doing " and on the other is " happening " . Both are in separate compartments. " Doing " is dependent on one's effort, and " happenings " is dependent on one's destiny (past actions). Therefore man is independent in doing, and in receiving the fruits of actions, man is dependent.
