Guest guest
10. Our life is drifting at the mercy of time. Man does not understand this fact and so he strives hard to acquire as much as he can. But death seizes everything from him. He is forced to leave everythihng here. The Supreme Reality is hidden in the enchanting beauty of the objects of the world outside. Therefore, in order to find the source of the Eternal Bliss we need at least a bird's eye view of what all constitutes true education. In Bhaja Govindam, Acharya Sankara says that in order to come out in flying colours in our life we should strive to realize the Infinite. It alone can console man. True education demands of us to keep our mind inspired by the people who have led a mighty way of life. Acharya Sankara advises that charity must be done only in our own abundance. We should help those men who are deserving. If we cannot give him our physical health and emotional help, we must give him intellectual wealth by our ideas and knowledge. When we give something to others, we recognize the need of others that we feel an accommodation with him. We should serve the poor and the downtrodden as the worship of Daridranarayana as conceived by Swami Vivekananda.
