We have to understand that this body is only an instrument with

which we can gain the higher realms. Therefore we should always

serve the body with a constant understanding. The body cannot remain

for ever. It has to perish at some time or the other. If we live in

the body with this right knowledge, it will no doubt be a serene and

peaceful life. This is the best lesson in a true education which we

can gather through an exhaustive study of Bhaja Govindam and strive

to apply.

Though the ties of family relations have effective influence on

individuals they can never be an end in themselves. Family is the

field of test wherein the individuals can develop into some sensible

personalities. But it is not in any way the ultimate destination. To

stick on to attachment and to get completely buried in his own

familylife seems to be quite natural to man. But when man analyses

intelligently he will come to realise the right attitude one must

have in order to maintain a higher plain of relationship with the

world. Thus by the method of analyzing intelligently we can cherish

a true education in our life.

In order to reeducate the intellect of the student, Acharya Sankara

insists that he always have the " company of the good " . The company

that we keep is very important. As a result of the " good company "

the human mind discovers stadily in itself an ability to abstain

from the painful field of attractions and repulsions.
