Guest guest
MIND CONTROL: To stabilize the restless mind, it has to be fixed on a single point to enable concentration. Normally, in meditation, this point of concentration is one's breath. As the mind gets fixed on one object as a result of sustained and serious practice, our concentration power increases. As a result, our sensory perceptions get managed more effectively. And the mind and senses create less problems, depending upon the intensity of our sadhana. – Acharya Mahaprajna The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials. – Chinese proverb Life is really simple but we insist on making it complicated. – Chinese proverb Patience is power. - Chinese proverb prof laxmi narain (prof_narain) Source and courtesy: Sri Ramana Kendram, Hyderabad This article was published in Sri Ramana Jyothi, monthly magazine of the Kendram.
