Guest guest
Dear Members, I am very happy for the over whelming responses being received from various groups where in I am a member currently, and I am sure that many will join in the coming days. Our mission is Called " Chaitanya Maha Prabhu Nama Biksha Kendra " the reason behind our Swamiji to name in this fashion basically is 1. " Chaitanya Maha Prabhu " a great saint 500-600 years back went across the length and breath of India to enable all people chant this Maha Mantra. 2. " Nama Biksha Kendra " Our mission is currently moving all around in Tamil Nadu and other parts of India in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ongole in Andhra, Ahmadabad, Mumbai to spread this message of Maha Mantra chanting and our Kendra volunteers are (Biksha)BEGGING each and everyone to chant not for any personal gains but for ONE AND ONLY GOAL IS TO MAKE A CONCIOUS EFFORT TO ENSURE THAT THE MANKNIND IS HAPPY & PEACEFUL. We are similarly extending this to outside India . We have successfully conducted satsang in Singapore , Indonesia , Australia , UK , and Middle East and currently in US. The power of the Maha Mantra is such that we were invited in Singapore prison to chant and people and the prisoners felt very happy and peaceful. In Indonesia we chanted the MM with a packed crowd of 2000 members in an open venue and today in these countries we have an open invitation to come and chant. Last couple of months back our satsang members were in Australia and currently in US and there has been a tremendous response. As I had informed earlier since this Mantra is from our Upanishads people do not doubt on the power it has (Earlier sent mail to this group on Kali Santrana Upanishads) FYI Please visit our website www.namadwaar.org or www.madhuramurali.org for more details. I would like to further explain why our mission is pleading to chant the Hare Rama Maha Mantra ( Nama Kirtan )and how will it benefit and what will it finally leads too. 'Everyone is potentially divine' The aforesaid thundering proclamation of Swami Vivekananda which inspired the Vedantic movement in the west aptly describes the basic tenet of our Dharma. The challenge obviously is to make that potential manifest completely. The various paths (Religions) strive towards this goal. Any of the popular four paths that of Mind control, Self enquiry, Dedicated Action and Selfless love can lead one to the state of Bliss. In the modern context, when a person is plagued with daily trifles which leaves not even one peaceful moment for quiet contemplation, there should be an easy path for peace and prosperity. That path should be such, that it should not involve a lot of rules / restrictions; It should not have time-bound restrictions; It should not involve much expenditure; It should be something which can be easily followed. In short, it should be perfectly relevant in the current day context, and absolutely practical. Is there such a path? Well, there is!! The path of chanting the divine name. Our elders called it Nama Kirtan. Repetition of some sounds produces harmony in the mind. Our ancient Spiritual scientists (Called rishis) by their sheer intuition and asepsis found those benign sounds which raises the consciousness of the person chanting it. Those were called Bhagavan Namas or the very names of God, the holy words. The next thinking will be, how does the chanting of the Lord's names be Useful to us? It is interesting to note that according to Hindus belief, if a Nama is pronounced correctly the deity to whom it is addressed has no choice but to respond to the invoker automatically and help him. With clear foresight the ancient Rishis saw that the mankind is rushing towards a hectic life and they prescribed this path of chanting the Holy names as the apt path for the modern days. All we need is to understand how this works and try to see it's results. Sharp, focused and concentrated mind will certainly acheive an efficient, happy and cheerful life. For people who are serious in their Spiritual pursuits, the benign name 'internalizes' the mind to aid in the process of self discovery. For the devotees, these are the very names of their beloved which speeds up their spiritual journey towards the blissful union with their beloved. So this path is well suited for people in every walk of life whether it is Secular, Spiritual or Religious. Added Information: Sri Prabhu Pada 40 years back took this to the Western world and today ISKON is enabling people to chant the same mantra world wide. Further " Hare Rama Hare Krishna Mantra " can be chanted by any one, in any social position, in any country and in any age for Rama,Krishna are the Supreme Lords of all people in all social positions, in all countries, in all ages. This Maha mantra will not encounter any enimity, opposition or persecution and amazingly the entire world is made to know the way to God. Even Bible says For the word [Name] of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. -- The Bible [Hebrews 4:12] If you further have any questions related to the same subject.
