Guest guest
Surrender Everything to Lord and Live in Joy I have heard this from saints, that he who has nothing that he can consider his own, neither the mind is his, nor the intellect, nor the body, nor the life force, nor the sense organs, nor the house, nor the wealth etc., he lives in bliss. When everything is surrendered to God, then wherever he lives, there is joy. Everything has been surrendered to God, therefore he lives in bliss at all times. Saints are amazing ! One such saint, when he used to go to the market, he saw many wonderful things, including delicious sweets, fruits etc. Whenever he saw wonderful things (barfi, or ladoo or jalebi), he stopped and right there and then mentally offered that thing (bhog lagaayi) to the Lord. Simply standing in a very joyful state, he made an offering of these wonderful things to the Lord . He said, " Lord, please accept this as an offering " . You too can do the same to the Lord, and all those things will become offering unto Him. Now tell me, how difficult can this be? You too can do the same. There is no one stopping you. Wherever you see great and wonderful things, make them an offering to God. Everything is God's. Then what can we do? Simply become joyful. Now there is no work that is remaining to be done. All work is simply God's work, His name, His contemplation, listening to His stories and messages etc.. What other work remains for you? You are doing the Lord's work. God is the master of this entire Universe. Now tell me, what is the difficulty in offering at the Lotus Feet of the Master, his own things? You say that these things are mine, but for how long? For how many years can you say they are yours ? For how many more years will you consider them to be yours ? In the end it will remain God's only. Therefore while living, offer it to the Lord with your whole heart, then you will be in joy. So very simple and yet so incredibly powerful is this point ! Saints have said the following - " Ram naam ke sampadaa do anter tak dhoon; Yaa toh gupati baat hai, kaho bataave koon. " Who will share such a great point ! and yet so very simple ! also a point that holds such a high status ! The message about worrilessness, fearlessness and joyfulness ! There is no worry, nor fear, no aim, no desire to live, nor desire to die. There is no desire of our own. My wishes are blended with that of God's. (Thy will be done). Now however God wishes, He may keep me. " Jaahi vidhi raakhe Ram. taahi vidhee rahiye Sita Ram Sita Ram Sita Ram kahiye. " There is no want of our own, no desire. With this our difficulties will be wiped out and God will be pleased. By thinking something to be mine, there is worries. This is my room. Some things are lying inside. My clothes are drying there. Someone will take them, such worries will arise. When you offer all of this to God, then how wonderful it will be. If it remains then it is the Lord's, and if it disappears, then too, it is the Lord's. Narayan ! Narayan ! Narayan !
