Therefore, they know brahma satyam jaganmithya; they know everything

is svapnavat (like a dream); they know all this will pass away. And

they are constantly in this awareness. It is not only an

intellectual knowledge, a fact of information that they have gleaned

from bookes or lectures, but a fact that they have experienced,

known directly. This is the jnani's secret of being perfectly

established.

And in the case of the bhakta, the devotee of the Lord, long ago he

decided, even before entering into this life spiritual, that God is

the only thing worth living for. God is the one and the only thing

that has any real value. In the estimation of the bhakta, God alone

counts, God alone matters. All other things are just alpa

(insignificant), they are nothing, theya re equal to zero. God is

the one and only supreme One, the Reality.

Therefore, they are concerned only with God. They know that all

other things are of no importance. No matter what happens, it does

not matter. God alone matters. All other matters do not matter.

Everything is cipher, nothing, compared to God. And therefore the

entire sense of values of a devotee of the Lord, a bhakta, is God

and God alone. He alone matters. He alone is important. all other

things -- no matter, " How they are, let them be, let them be. Waht

do I care, what do I care? "
