In Sanaathana Dharma PuNya Kaalam is based on Movement and Position of Sun God - Soorya Bhagawaan. The Day starts with Sun Rise and ends with Sun Set . This is Ahnam aka Aha . Night is from Sun Set to next Sun Rise . This is Raathri . Aha + Raathri = Aho Raathri 24 hours . Saptha Aha = 7 Day times - usually Spiritual cum Religious concourses are held over a period of Sapthaaham , eg - Bhaagavatha Sapthaaham . 1. Ushodaya PuNya Kaalam = Sun Rise Time every Day- Before this time is Braahmi Muhoortham - one should be ready by The Time Of Sun Rise to start one's Day. 2.Bhaanu Vaara PuNya Kaalam = Start of Sun Rise on Sun Day , First Day of the week. 3.Prathipath PuNya Kaalam - first Prathipath or Paadyami or Prathama Thitthi Day Sun Rise - For those who consider AmaVaasya to AmaVaasya as a Lunar Month it is Sukla or Suddha Paadyami and for those who take it as from one Full Moon to Full Moon as a Lunar month it is Bahula or Krishna Paadyami as Prathipath Sun Rise PuNya Kaalam. AmaVaasya means Sun and Moon are together. PourNamaasya or PoorNami means Sun and Moon are exactly opposite. Please Note Bhaarath is One Country but of diverse opinions with a single thread of culture binding together - for some Amavaasya is good and yet for others Amavaasya is not auspicious. 4.Abhijith PuNya Kaalam is when Sun is exactly overhead. This is the time Raama was born and got married , but HE had HIS difficulties and continues to have difficult times being called NAMES. Raama is used to being called Names . I dont think HE minds . Raama is God Vishnu and Sanaathana God said " One Can Abuse ME , but not MY desciples " example - Prahlaada and God NaraSimha To Be Continued Hara Hari hi Om Thath Sath aathreya - ramaraju , bala krishna murthy
