Guest guest
10. In this field of outer vyavahara (society), do what the situation calls for. Do the needful. Supposing a very bad accident case is rushed by ambulance to the emergency care section of the hospital. Immediately the surgeons are summoned and they start working. Even though the case looks hopeless, they will work with all their might, with all thier heart, with all their attention. They will try to do their utmost best to save the person. They will never say: " No use, it is hopeless; what is the use of wasting our time and energy? " So, do the needful. That is skill in action. Enduring all things with total detachment and dispassion, do the n eedful. Ours is to do and leave the rest in the hands of God. For all doings are ultimately in His hands. Thus with a deeper understanding of life and a higher vision of the working of the Cosmic will, one accepts life as it comes, knowing that there is not much you can do to change outsisde. At the same time one does not refrain from doing that which is necessary, what the situation calls for, what one feels that one can do. One says: " Yes, this is what I can and should do in this situation " and then leavaes the rest in the hands of God. Be established in a state of stability, knowing that ultimately all things occur according to the great Cosmic plan of which we have no knoweldge. Contd...
