What is the correct method to be implimented in ANVESHANA (Searching

the correct way to reach GOD)?

ANTARDHAYANA(deep concentration without forgetting HIS name) or

BAHIRDHYAANAM (Praising Lord's name duly chanting with noice) whcih

is the best?

Once upon a time there was a king named as Chandra haasa. He was a

good ruler and the people in his kingdon were happy by the good

administration of the king. He was not interested in going temples

and performing Puja etc. He was never performed any Yagas etc., nor

encouraged them. His wife was a pious woman. She was in a habbit of

performing puja etc. daily by visiting several temples in that

kingdom.

She was very much annoyed by the behavior of her husband against the

GOD. She was always praying the God to change her husband as AASTIKA.

But there is no use.

One fine morning the king th wondered to see his entire kindom was in

a festival mood including his Royal palace even though that is not a

festival day. Hence he went to his wife and asked about the reason of

that day special festival arrangements. His wife replied with joy

that day is having a special importence. On that previous day night

the queen observcved her husband told the God's name as Krishna

Krishna while he is in deep sleep. She think that her husband is a

NASTIKA. Even though her husband is NASTIKA God made miracle and made

the king as AASTIKA. With that reason the queen ordered to perform

special festival day through out the kingdom.

By hearing the above the king became very sad. he left the royal

palace and entered into a deep forest. While sitting under a tree the

king asked Lord Krishna to tell about his mistake if any in his deep

meditation. Finally he came to a conclusion that he was committed

some mistake in his meditation. As a PRAYASCHITTA the king observed

that day as a fasting day .

By the above story it is became clear that the worship of God in

inner heart is the best way and there is no need to go to temples to

worship and there is no need to speak the Lord;s name loudly.

Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa taught that it is necessary to

do HARINAMA SAMKEERTANA twice daily by making claps with hands to

eliminate the sins from the phisical body as any one make claps

under a tree the birds on the tree flyes away.

Now the question. What is the correct method to be follwed. Whether

INNER DHAYANA or BAHIRANGA DHYANA which is the best?

The answer for the above question as told by my guruji is this.

The above two systems are correct methods by STHAAYEE BHEDA. If a

person wants to go on the top of a house he searchs about for a

ladder or stair case. After reaching the top of house he need not

think about the laddar or stair case which was used by him. That

Sthaayee is called as AAROODHA STITHI. The king in the above story is

in this AAROODHA STITHI. When a striver reaches at a certain stage he

need not worry about the normal methods like puja etc.,in his path.

Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Parama hamsa told to worship GOD daily by

chanting HIS name loudly duly making claps with both hands. This

teaching is intended for common people. The person who wants to go to

the top of house must search out for a laddar or stair case. Like

wise common man should chant the GOD'S Name twice daily as told.

This stage is called as AARURUKSHA STITHI.
