Guest guest
SRI MAATRE NAMAHA JAI GURUDEVA DATTA Srimat Paramahamsa Parivrajakaacharya Jagadguru Srimatchhankaraacharya was earned a title as SHANAMTASTHAPANACHARYA by controlling several branches in Indian cult like SAKTA, SOWRA, GANAAPATYA, SAIVA and VAISHNAVA etc., Even his rivals like Abhinavaguptapaadaacharya praised his great work and called him duly comparing with Bhagavan SADASIVA( " Samnkara Samnkarassakshaat " ). He was also made argurements with JAINS and BOWDHHASA and won victory over them. After establishing four Peethas in the four corners of India he was directed the followers of Santana Dharma to worship Gods in PANCHAYATANA PUJA . Hence we must know about panchayatana .What is Panchayatana? Panchayatana means five and Aayatana means locating Gods or Godesses. In this Panchayatana there shall be four Gods and one Goddess. 1.SIVA Siva should be worshipped in the form of Narmada Bana Linga or Sphatika Linga 2.VISHNU Vishnu should be worshipped in the form of SALIGRAVA. 3.AADITYA Aaditya (the Sun God) should be worshipped in the form of Sphaatikam. 4GANAPATI Ganapati should be worshipped in the form of SONABHADRA (a pink colour stone) 5.AMBIKA The Goddess Ambika should be worshipped in the form fo SWARNA MAAKSHIKA (a metal containing gold colour) In the above if SIVA is establlished in the middle it is called as SIVA PANCHAYATANAM Like wise we may establish any one of the five above according to our tradition and we may call it in the name of God or Goddess Panchayatanam located in the middle of Panchayatana. This Panchayatana Puja shall give health, wealth along with SANKALPA SIDHHI to the worshipper and his family. This Panchayatana puja shall clear the way to the worshipper in his spiritual field. SALIGRAVA Lord Vishnu shall be worshipped in the form of SALIGRAVA. Many people call it as SALIGRAMA due to ignorence. It is not correct. What is ment SALIGRAVA ' Sali' means raw paddy and 'grava' means weight. It is better to worship the saligrava already exists in the house and worshipped by our elders and forefathers. If we want to start worship a new saligrava it must be tested at the very first instant according to the proceedure mentiond below. Immediatly after getting the SALIGRAVA it must we weighed with SALIDHANYA (raw paddy) and to kept in the house with worship on the same paddy which was equally weighed with saligrava. Next day the same Saligrava should be reweighed with the paddy which was kept under the saligrava. There must be difference in the weight either in Raw paddy or Saligrava. If the weight of raw paddy is incresed it may be decided that the SALIGRAVA is suitable to that family and fit for worship continuasly and that saligrava is capable to give good results like increasing wealth and health etc to that family. If the weight of SALIGRAVA is incresed insted of paddy it may be decided that the SALIGRAVA is not suitable for that family and not fit to keep in that house. If any one keep it in his house with foolishness that SALIGRAVA smashes his family and do ARISHTA (very bad effects) to that family. If there is no diffrence of weight found either in raw paddy or saligrava we may dicide that it is not real Saligrava but a colour stone. No tests are needed to the SALIGRAVAS which are kept in the house and worshipped by elders and forefathers as those are useful and fit for that family SARVESHAM SWASTIR BHAVATU DR.G.S.SUBAMANYA SASTRY drgsssastry 08554 255680
