Guest guest
A Devotee is Worriless The more at ease and free of worries that a devotee is, to that extent the impact, the influence, the impression of the God's grace is seen in him. And the more that he worries, to that extent the influence and power of God's grace is obstructed. The point is that after surrendering to God, an interruption, a barrier is created in the grace that is unfailing, never ending, unusual, unbroken, grace that is continuously flowing from God. God sees that if his devotee is worrying, then God assumes that the devotee himself will try to solve the problem. Thus the flow of God's grace is interrupted. The more worriless, the more dependent, the more without doubts, the more without regrets, the more without resolves or vows that a devotee is, to that extent the devotee's surrender to God is better. Therefore, I must experience no weight or burden on myself. There is no responsibility what so ever on me. Now I have become entirely God's. When we desire anything at all from God, e.g. such and such should happen for me, then we remain separate from God. Just like an only son of a billionnaire tells his father that if I could get Rs. 100,000, it implies that he is intending to separate from the father, even though in reality the millions and billions are his alone. I have nothing to take. When there is desire to take, it separates God from us. The grace that is flowing from God, is blocked. Just like a kitten has no concern about his own welfare and where he has to go and what he has to do? He remains entirely dependent on his mother. When the mother holds him, he gently withdraws his paws inwards and uses no strength what so ever to resist. Now wherever the mother wants to take him and place him, it is the mother's call. Similarly, God's devotee, looks towards God. In God's wish and directive, the devotee is happy. For him, neither happiness nor unhappiness, praise or complaints, wealth or poverty, union or separation, honor or dishonor, none of these make any difference. From his own point of view, there is no worries. If a thought arises, then he calls out to God, " O Father ! What should I do? " In this manner, leaving all worries, he surrenders to God.
