Through attachment to the body rises the feeling of violence, harsh words, even as the feeling of 'I-ness' and 'mine-ness'. 13. Discrimination, dispassion and renunciation are the foundations of spiritual life. 14. Cultivate a habit of discrimination and dispassion by carefully observing the passing shows of life and the transitory nature of earthly objects, however valuable they may appear to be for the time being. 15. An intellect that is sharpened by discrimination attains Self- realisation. 16. Discrimination is the best remedy for the chronic ailment of worldly existence. 17. Discrimination destroys the very root of all troubles and ignorance. 18. This world is a world of pain, disease, death, troubles and ignorance. Discrimination alone is the means of gaining victory over it. 19. Moksha is attainable through discrimination. 20. All the misery of the world is due to lack of discrimination. 21. Discrimination alone is the means of gaining victory over death and trouble. 22. Acceptance of good through rejection of evil, practice of virtue and rejection of vice become pssible through discrimination. 23. Strength, intellect, power, energy and effort attain sucess through discrimination. 24. Discrimination is the same as divine light.
