THE QUEST FOR SPIRITUAL MATURITY: Spiritual freedom is the

culmination of a long and arduous path and not the beginning. This

is not what most people want to hear. We live in a society that

wants things to be easy. When most of us hear about hard work,

responsibility, and even adulthood, these things sound stifling and

uninviting. Adults would rather live a prolonged youth, avoiding

adult choices and responsibilities.

1.There are berths and deaths, but they are of the ego; not of you.

You exist whether the sense of ego is there or not. —Sri Ramana

2. Prayer and mediation must be undertaken as a joyous privilege for

talking with God, and not as a chore or duty inflicted upon us. --
