AATHREYA – SRI RAAMA vs RaavaNa Brahma .

SRI RAAMA is Vishnu .

RaavaNa is second birth of Jaya – Dwaara Paalaka of Vaikhuntta.

RAAMA is God . RaavaNa is an asura.

RAAMA belongs to Ikshvaaku Soorya Vamsa Kshathriya family.

RaavaNa belongs to Paulasthya Brahma Vamsa Brahmin family.

RAAMA is a Saathvik . RaavaNa is Raajas and Thaamas combined.

RAAMA is much younger to RaavaNa and lived long after RaavaNa died.

RaavaNa is much older to RAAMA and lived long before RAAMA is born.

RAAMA is born in Ayoddhya . RaavaNa belongs to Sri Lanka .

RAAMA's Parents are King Dasarattha and Devi Kausalya.

RaavaNa's Parents are Sage Visravasu and Kaikasi.

RAAMA is the eldest Son , very obedient to His parents and loved His younger

brothers.

RaavaNa is the eldest son , obedient to his mother and bossed over his younger

brothers.

RAAMA is a Bhaktha of Soorya Bhagawaan and Lord Shiva.

RaavaNa is a great Shiva Bhaktha.

RAAMA respected all women . RaavaNa tried to misbehave .

RAAMA is ekapathni vrathastha ( a man of only one wife.)

RaavaNa is a womanizer .

RAAMA's wife Seetha Devi is Lakshmi and suffered a lot.

RaavaNa's wife Mandodari is a great lady , and suffered in silence.

RAAMA never sought to fight with others , but when forced never lost .

RaavaNa is eager to pick up a fight , but tasted defeat at the hands of

Vaali , Kaartha Veerya Arjuna and Shiva Dhanuss.

RAAMA gave a lot of importance to public opinion .

RaavaNa never bothered to listen to his own wife , brothers and ministers.

RAAMA is never after position . power or riches. In fact He offered His

Kingdom to His brother Bharatha several times including in the end.

RaavaNa is quite opposite and drove away his brother VibheeshaNa from

home..

RAAMA's brothers loved , adored and respected RAAMA.

RaavaNa's brothers feared him.

RAAMA loved one and all irrespective of their origins- Guha , Sabari.

RaavaNa is a born supremacist and an egoist.

RAAMA is very compassionate to animals – even a squirrel.

RaavaNa is cruel and killed a noble well meaning bird Jataayu.

RAAMA even respected RaavaNa and was prepared to learn the

Nuances of administration from RaavaNa.

RAAMA by His behaviour is A God.

RaavaNa by his behavior became an asura ( Raakshasa ).

RAAMA then in His own days as well as now a days can tolerate maligning .

RaavaNa would have never tolerated any insult.

Lastly I conclude saying that RAAMA , being a Kshathriya might have been a

non vegetarian and I don't think He ever drank alcoholic drinks.

RaavaNa , though born a Brahmin is a confirmed Non Vegetarian and a definite

Alcoholic .

RAAMA reached Vaikhunttam . RaavaNa is destined to be born for the last

time

as Sishupaal in 28 th Dwaapara Yugam again to confront Lord Krishna

Vaasudev

and attain Pari NirvaaNa ( Liberation ) .

RAAMA is not a mythological figure . HE is a Historical figure who walked on

this

Earth during the 28 th Thretha Yugam.

Om Brahma Hari Hara Om Thath Sath.

Aathreya – Ramaraju , Bala Krishna Murthy .
