Guest guest
Dear Natesan, Love and Love alone.... I do not know with what context you said so. Had you quoted the reference, it would have been easy for me to respond properly. However, let me clarify. As our elders say, if you take one step towards God, HE will come down ten steps. It is in that context. Go, does not mean the physical walk, it means, try for HIS blessings, and HE will profusely bless you. In fact, HE has been blessing, but we are so obsessed with and immersed in this world that we do not see HIS invisible hand helping us every moment. I hope you got it. Love and Love alone..... P. That is not the case. people need not go to GOD. Since God is everywhere He should be taking care of everyone just like a mother taking care of her children P. Guest guest
Dear Natesan, Love and Love alone.... Well said. I do not disagree with you, but my point is, even Adi Sankaracharya has authored so many Stotras, praising and praying God or Goddess for some benefit, though not for personal. So, prayer is definitely an important tool, but, yes, if it is selfless, it will have greater impact, but praying for personal gain is NOT wrong in any path, i.e., Advaita, Dwaita and Visishtadwaita. Even asking for Moksha or Mukti is a desire in a deeper sense of understanding. Even in Gita, Lord says that desire is not bad, but selfless desire is the best. I hope I am clear.
