Guest guest
At Shirdi, if we spend sometime at Dwaraka Mai, mother Sai will grant abundant wealth and peace to the devotees. In the eleven principles of Baba, it is made clear that Dwaraka Mai is the cosmic mother. The mother who has given you birth and brought you up can give you all. The biological mothers can't stop your death. Only the cosmic mother Dwaraka Mai can stop your death and make you immortal. Ordinary mothers may give you birth and bring you up. They may give you whatever you have now. They may give even their lives. But the peace and wealth needed by us can't be given by her. The bliss and prosperity described by Baba shall be given only by Dwaraka Mai. Mother gives you your body. Dwaraka Mai is your very soul. Mother gives you a transient body. Dwaraka Mai gives you eternity. The relationship between you and your mother is mutual indebtedness, but the relationship between you and the cosmic mother is eternal and soulful. Your mother is your mother, only during this life. But Dwaraka Mai is your mother all through. Mother tells you about Baba's love, but Dwaraka Mai shows you the loving Baba himself. Your mother and all the other mothers have their birth place at Dwaraka Mai. We should strive for getting happiness and eternal prosperity from her. Naturally, many people are of the view that happiness comes from money. It may not be untrue. Also it alone is not true. Some are happy because of children. Some are happy because of a beautiful house. Some are happy because of a good position. Some ate happy because of marriage. Some are happy when their problems are solved. Some are happy if their sickness is removed. But all of them are not the real sources of permanent bliss. They all may even turn to be a source of suffering. A coin has two sides. Life has two sides. One is happiness, other is sorrow. For sometime we may be happy. For some time we have wealth. There is nothing wrong in keeping worldly wealth. Without asking, Dwaraka Mai grants us everything. But there are better things to be sought after. There lies the intelligence of a devotee in distinguishing what is transient and what is permanent. What is worldly and what is other worldly? Only those who are of pure discrimination can understand the sound spirituality of Sai Baba. (to be contd..)
