Creative, contemplative people often have active days, but their full lives are not necessarily busy to the point where they can't pause, reflect, and be fruitfully distracted…The way ahead is to let our spiritual values shape our activities so that they are honest, deeply motivated, cognizant of community, and coloured with love and solid satisfaction. Then the step from work to contemplation will be a short and easier one.
