Guest guest
Integrated Approach The above three paths are not mutually exclusive. Ramana Maharshi says that ultimately they all merge with one another. The best action is, working with the mind turned to its soure and fixed there steadily. From Upadesa Saram of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, we have verse 9 Bhavasunyasad-Bhavasusthitih Bhavanabalad Bhaktiruttama " By the strength of the " He am I " , (So-ham) through intense devotion, a firm abidance in the existence rinciple (sat-chit-ananda), which is free from all thought modification is attained. This is Supreme Devotion " . Bhagavan often says Bhakti is Jnana and Jnana is Bhakti. Bhagavatpada Adi Sankaracharya says the same in Vivekachoodamani, verse 32-33. Svasvarrupanusandhanam Bhaktirityabhidhiyate Svatmattvanusandhanam Bhaktirityapare Jaguah " Concentration of the nature of the Self is said to be bhakti by some; others say it is concentration on the truth of the Atman " . To conclude, one can say that while different paths have been pointed out to reach an egoless state (Maskless state), a person of realisation does not distinguish these paths as distinct from one another, and understands that each path leads to the other.
