Once a Sanyasi named Vijayananda from Tamil Nadu visited Shri Shirdi Sai

Baba. And Baba told him, " Do your duty leaving all attachment with the

things of this world and next. He who does this and surrenders himself

to the Feet of Hari (Lord) will get free from all troubles and attain

Bliss. The Lord runs and helps him, who remembers and meditates on Him

with love and affection. " This is the unique way of Baba. When once you

seek help form powerful Guru and God like Sai Baba, you need not seek

any help from any other God.

 

When you request directly and make an application to the district

collector, there is no need to beg the small officers for any help. You

should always go to the top person for the fulfillment of your desires.

Hold on to the feet of the powerful people, not the others. God is all

powerful. He does not depend upon any thing or anybody. Everything and

everybody depends upon him. Whoever repeats the name of Sai Baba

repeatedly seeking his help and grace, will never have any failure.

 

When the minds are fickle, when the resolutions are infirm and when the

devotion is not steadfast, when you change the gods frequently, when you

go from one God to others always, you will never be successful and you

will never obtain anything worthwhile. Hold on to one path. Have faith

in one God. Don't drift from one goal to another goal and from one road

to another road. You will be nowhere. If you want water, don't dig in

ten places, ten feet at each place. Dig in the same place all the one

hundred feet. You will succeed.

 

Shree Rama is Hanuman's Guru, guide and refuge. Shri Krishna is gopi's

all in all and refuge. Shri Venkateswara is Annamayya's refuge. The

devotees of Sai Baba have none but Baba for their friend, philosopher,

guide, Guru, God and refuge. Let not your minds oscillate. Let it be

firm in devotion to Baba. Don't lose your confidence in Baba. Let it

grow to be stronger and stronger, day after day. Don't give up

concentration. Meditate more and more on Baba. Do not leave the feet of

Baba. Hold on to them with a tight grip.

 

Look at only Baba. Ask only Baba for any thing. Keep one form, one name,

one goal and one God. Be of single minded devotion. Sai Baba is your

refuge. He also is your solace.
