Guest guest
Eleventh Holy Saying " There will never be any want want in the houses of my devotees " Baba declared about the efficacious blessing of his master time and again. He said, " I served my master for 12 years, he brought me up with love and affection. He was full, kind and compassionate. I never had any want in his service; I had no problem at any time for food, clothing and shelter " . Such a great disciple Sai Baba of a great master will never keep anybody in want. Poverty and failure are unknown to the devotees of Baba. Let us once again listen to his words of nectar, " My master did not expect any thing other than devotion from me. Never did he neglect me. He was always my protector. He had been my loving saviour always " . " I always lived with him and followed him like a shadow. Even if I was away from him, now and then, he continued to love me and save me without any interruption. " The life of a devotee is full and fruitful, if he is able to win the love and grace of the master. Life is meaningless and miserable, if we are unable to receive the master's grace and love. The real poverty it is, when we can't get the Guru's grace. Real prosperity it is, when we are able to enjoy in full the love of the master. Baba does not make any mention about the people who are poor for want of devotion. The homeless will build a home. The unmarried will get married. The sick will become healthy. Poor people become rich. Problems will be solved if a person becomes a devotee, devotee of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Neither the want nor the adversity will ever visit a heart given to Baba. Devotees and ordinary people may think that Baba will give victory and wealth. Baba's meaning of prosperity is different. Success is spiritual enlightenment. Wealth is the wealth of devotion. If we observe carefully the devotees and their houses, we will understand what Baba means by wealth. God lives in the hearts of devotees. The house of a devotee is but God's temple. Wherever you see a devotee, you find God. Sri Rama is Ravana's enemy. Ravan's Brother is Vibhishana. Vibhishana lives in Lanka. In his house there is always Ram Bhajan. Shree Hari is Hiranyakasipu's enemy. Prahlada is his son. He is a great devotee of Hari. In the palace, therefore, there is always Hari bhajan. When God's name is repeatedly said in the demon's house, it is not a surprise to find ceaseless bhajans in the houses of the devotees. Sabari's hermitage is Rama's abode. Meera's palace is Krishna's Mandir. Annamayya's house is Venkateshwara's dwelling place. Tukaram's living place is Panduranga's play ground. In the residences of Baba's devotees, Sai Baba stays for ever. (to be contd..)
