11th advice There will never be any want want in the houses of my devotees

If we become the devotees of Baba we will get everything. In the hearts

of ignorant masses, there is always want and darkness. In the hearts of

the enlightened people, you will not find any sorrow or poverty. They

are all always full.

 

The dwelling places of ordinary men are called houses. If there is

divine love and grace in them, they are called homes. It is a temple, if

there is in it devotion to Baba. The place of Baba's devotees, showering

Baba's grace, is the sacred Shirdi.

 

Shiridi is holy. Dwaraka Mayi too is holy. It is so because Sai Baba sat

there, walked there, slept there, ate there, lived there and finally

attained Maha Samadhi there. The whole village and the people in it are

fortunate and blessed. All there needs and requirements are fulfilled by

Baba. It is for their sake that Baba came to them from a far away place.

Initially, Shirdi was a very small place. It became big and large,

acquiring prominence and significance because Baba had lived there.

 

If there is everything and everybody in the house without Baba, it's a

poor house without peace. Even if there is no body and if there is only

Baba, then it is a rich house of peace.

 

One old person after retirement had many problems including insufficient

income. Baba solved his problems, helped his income improve and blessed

him with peace. Let us learn about that episode.

 

The relief to Raghunatha Rao

Raghunatha Rao was an employee working in a foreign company in Bombay.

On account of old age and ill health, he was unable to continue his job.

Therefore he took leave and was taking rest. His health did not improve

during the period of leave. So he wanted to extend his leave. If his

leave was not granted, he decided to quit his job. The manager of the

company resolved to grant him retirement with some pension. Since he

worked in the company faithfully for a long time, he should have

handsome pension. The manager thought deeply over the matter. His salary

per month was 150 rupees. If he gets half of that, it would not be

sufficient. Therefore every body was worried and undecided about it.

 

About a fortnight before the day of decision, Baba appeared in the dream

of Tendulkar's wife. He told, " I think a pension of Rs.100 is enough and

good. Are you satisfied with it? " She replied, " Baba, why do you ask me?

You know all. We have faith in you. " Baba suggested 100 Rs. And the

pensioner got and excess of Rs. 10. Baba's grace is beyond the

description of words. We do not know what we need. Baba knows us and our

requirements much better.

 

Baba's grace is infinite wealth. Baba's presence is the inexhaustible

treasure house. Baba's compassion is boundless wealth. Baba's blessings

are the akshya patra of boons and gifts. In the house of Sai devotees

the word 'want' has no meaning. Therefore be rich, peaceful and happy as

a devotee of Baba.
