We need many things

for this traditional worship;

offer them to us

so that we may offer them

to you!

 

We need conches that sound

as your white conch;

we need drums and cymbals;

we need festoons and buntings;

we need oil lamps;

and also we need well versed priests.

 

O lord, shining as the blue diamond,

listen to us,

the innocent girls

who purified themselves

to be at this temple

to perform worship

with devotion and piety.
